diy honeycomb grid for tungsten light

Definitely would work. You need to spray it with matt black paint and find a way to rig it to your lights...not so elegant but saves $$$$$. Don't use duck tape to fix grids for hot lights though as it will melt. I tried in the past make my own grids with cardboard sheets for strobes. The finer and deeper the honeycombs are, the tighter the light beam spreads.
