mahonri_moriancumer Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 The older Minolta Dimage 7 was made without an infrared cutoff filter. Since this is so you can put on an infrared filter and have a great IR camera that allows you to see the IR image either in the viewfinder or on the back screen. You can actually view the IR photo before shooting, a great aid to composition. The 5mp file size is very workable and the Auto or manual control coupled with a 28-200 f/2.8 lens makes it really nice to work with.
