I don't have an answer to your question but was looking for a DW thread for suggestions to my own dilemma.

I'm leaving for a 5 week holiday and for the first time, going digital (SLR). I'm agonizing as to whether to spend the $700 - $800 CDN req'd for a 20 gig digital wallet that I will only need once a year.

Since I'm backpacking, bringing a lap top is not an option, and I already have an MP3 player but it doesn't take JPEGS (Creative Nomad)so am not thrilled about buying another one that does take JPEGS. Below is a link the the RCA mp3 player, has anyone tried it for JPEG storage, and how compatible is it with Windows XP?

Also, has anyone travelled to Eastern Europe lately (Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia) and noticed if the internet cafe's allow you to burn your photos onto CD's? That would mean bringing along my SanDisk CF card reader. (bit of a pain..)
