william_henderson
Does anyone have experience with the mindstor digital wallet? Any problems and/or a better digital wallet.
richard harris
There is a review of a similar product here which also links to a review of the Digital Wallet itself. joshroot
I have heard some good things about the Xdrive. It is significantly cheaper than a lot of others. Though i don't know anyone who has firsthand experience with it.
jwink3101
Does anybody like the Adorama one. I was looking into it?
genec
I have an X drive and so far am quite satisfied with it. I got it with a 30gig drive for only $250. The USB interface is a bit slow but it is great for the price.
ken krueger
I don't have an answer to your question but was looking for a DW thread for suggestions to my own dilemma. I'm leaving for a 5 week holiday and for the first time, going digital (SLR). I'm agonizing as to whether to spend the $700 - $800 CDN req'd for a 20 gig digital wallet that I will only need once a year. Since I'm backpacking, bringing a lap top is not an option, and I already have an MP3 player but it doesn't take JPEGS (Creative Nomad)so am not thrilled about buying another one that does take JPEGS. Below is a link the the RCA mp3 player, has anyone tried it for JPEG storage, and how compatible is it with Windows XP? http://www.mp3shopping.com/english/RCA_lyra_audio_video.htm Also, has anyone travelled to Eastern Europe lately (Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia) and noticed if the internet cafe's allow you to burn your photos onto CD's? That would mean bringing along my SanDisk CF card reader. (bit of a pain..)
