Digital Backs with Hasselblad 2000FC/M

Hi All,

Well I've been doing some research on google but all information seems to be

standard information and no information from personal experiences.

What I would like to know is.

Can the 2000FC/M with F Lenses be used with any available Digital back.

I've read that they can be used with CF lens, and I read that F/FE lens can be

used on 205 and 203 bodies.

Only the 2000 and 201F have to be used with CF lens

So does anyone know of or have any experience about why this is so, or anyone

who has managed to use a digital back on a 2000 body.

I've heard of Digital backs with F lens adapters on ebay but couldn't get much

info on them.

Anyway any personal insights would be awesome

Thanks

Alec

I was experimenting around with using a 2000 series camera with my Phase One back in

order to use the F110 f2 lens. I actually got one from KEH but ended up returning it. It will

work, but the Phase One back, at least, requires the sync cable to wake up and trigger the

back. With the digital back the shutter needs to be open for the full exposure like when you

are using flash, so you can only use 1/60th and slower. It will not work with any of the faster

shutter speeds with the focal plane shutter. I thought this might be ok with studio strobes,

but I thought better of it and traded back in for CF stuff. I was also a little disapointed with

the 2000 series, the shutters are delicate and a little noisy. I am assuming most digital backs

would have the same issue with the focal plane shutter.
