efusco Posted November 27, 2002 Share Posted November 27, 2002 Pete, I don't have a 6006 so I waited to answer hoping someone with this specific camera would respond in case there's something oddly different about removing the door. I doubt there is. Nikon puts a small wire 'catch' on the inside of the hinge side of the door. You usually pull up on that (or down) which releases one side of the hinge and then just pull it out. Goes back in just the same. Let me know if that doesn't work. The picture is from my FM2n, yours may be a little different, but I doubt it is much different.
