ricardo_tomasi
Hi, In the last few days the "Daily sample of our member's work" gallery in the front page has an annoying bug. When I click on one of the featured pictures, I get an unstyled page (http://www.photo.net/v2javascript/highslide/hs-image.tcl?photo_id=2175468) with a plain white background and one missing image. When I click in "view photo" it gets back to normal. I'm using the latest version of Firefox, tested on different computers.
joshroot
Do you have Javascript disabled? The daily sampling images now use a "pop up" javascript sort of thing. See attached screenshot.<div></div>
ricardo_tomasi
Javascript enabled. Have you tested it with Firefox 2.0.0.13? On IE it kind of works, but if you click on one of the images too early a popup shows up saying "IE could not open http://www.photo.net", and if you click on the Close button before the photo has finished loading it gives me one of those "This page cannot be displayed" errors. Looks like the script needs some polishing. Anyone care to test on Opera / Safari?
joshroot
I use mac firefox 2.0.0.13 every day and it works just fine. It also works on my safari 3.0.4. Firing up parallels (win XP), it works fine on IE 6 and firefox 2.0.0.8. I also have not heard any other complaints about the javascript popups. And given how quickly people contact me when something is broken site-wide, I think this points to an error on your computer.
ricardo_tomasi
Strangely enough it is now working fine on Firefox (haven't changed any settings). The IE error persists (IE 6 that is - fresh XP install).
