D7100 Monitor Cover

<p>What's everyone going to do to protect the monitor of this camera?</p>

<p>I plan on doing nothing. but, you could get a protective film screen protector. something like what you would put over your phone's screen.</p>

<p>I use GGS screen protectors on all of my dSLR's. It's easy to install and is crystal clear. $10 or less and it protects your investments to scratches.</p>

I have a zagg screen protector that I bought for my samsung galaxy 10 and never used so I cut it up and used it on my

D7100 I think it will make about four so I am all set. Looks good and nice protection from scratches.

My feeling is that the screen protector is often

easier to scratch then the screen. If the camera

comes with one I use it until I lose it.

<p>Why does the camera not allow a screen protector? Is it perhaps so that when scratces occur expensive service is required?</p>

really clear and tough. Same type plastic as Jet windshields. I also have one for Nex 5n.<br>

comes with a second protector for top display so both are protected.</p>
