dan_belmont
Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble withthe green channel clipping on a d70. I have tried all of the whitebalance settings and am still having trouble with greens ( mostlygrass trees etc) The greens just don't look right. Any help would beappretiated. Also if anyone is using a D2x do you have any troublewith greens?
ilkka_nissila
I get fabulous natural greens out of my D70 on auto wb. Do you use RAW? If not, you could try to see if using RAW and converting it to TIFF with Nikon Capture (or Nikon Editor which is free on the web) helps with your green problem. I'd say this is one of the strong areas of the D70 - I think it gives great pics of plants.
ellis_vener_photography
Is your monitor accurately calibrated and profiled/ Calibration changes the behaviour ofthe monitor (whithin the mechanical limits ofthe monitor) and profiling tells your computer system how the monitor is behaving. skidoo
I get killer-rich greens with my D70. I shoot 90% RAW and use Adobe Camera Raw with PS CS2.

dabitz
I used to have issues with green on my D70. I change the color settings from "vivid" to "normal" and the problem was gone. when I used vivid, green plants almost looked like gel.
dan_belmont
Yes my monitor is calibrated. I use the adobe RGB color space in camera, printer and in photoshop. I am shooting in RAW. I have tried photoshop and nikon capture. Thanks for all of the suggestions though!
