b_n_f
I have been given good advice by another photo.net member and find myself almost ready to buy a new Nikon D70. I have (had) shot with a F100 and N80 set up for years, but stopped when I went digital.... So I have a few lenses (Nikon 105 DF 2.0, Nikkor 50/1.4, Sigma EX17-35, Sigma EX70-200HSM, Sigma EX28-70 2.8). Can I use all of those lenses without restriction on a new D70??? Sorry to ask, but I have been absent from any info on D-SLRs! Thanks
miha_steinb_cher
All Nikkors that work with F80/N80 can be used with D70. Sigmas should in theory also work OK, but sometimes they need rechipping for use on new bodies. Best regards, Miha
bryan_lardizabal
"Can I use all of those lenses without restriction on a new D70???" All lenses you have listed will work on the D70...including any others with CPU contacts.
kenny allyn
Older lens should work fine I have an older Nikkor 35 to 70 f2.8 macro zoom that I used on my N90S and it works fine ... However remember the 1.5 X conversion ... ie: my 35/70 works out to a 52.5 to 105mm lens on my D70 ... (I have read that it's a X 1.6 on Canons so the actual number may be somewhere between the two?)
