sergio_ortega7
When setting up the "Role played by card in slot 2" function, and specifically selecting the "RAW Slot 1--JPEG slot 2" option, does it make a difference in which of the two slots the faster and/or larger of the two memory cards is inserted? Unlike selecting the "Backup" option, where the same "RAW+JPEG" file would be simultaneously written on both cards in slot 1 and slot 2, and the total write-time and memory capacity would be determined by the slowest and/or smallest of the two cards...would I be correct in assuming the faster and/or larger capacity memory card should be in Slot 1 since it's being set up to receive the RAW files? ShunCheung
If you use NEF (RAW) in one and JPEG in the other slot option, definitely put the larger size and faster speed card in the slot for NEF. RAW files are generally several times as large in terms of byte count, depending on compression on both sides.
