Cost:899 with kit lens 18-55, availability:June. ilkka_nissila Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 I doubt that the AF accuracy is in the firmware update, it only talks about using closest-focus and dynamic modes, which I don't use. These days I buy them abroad on travel or viat he net .. like B+H but many times cos of import duties (12.5%), I get new stuff off a guy in eBay or off Photo.net classifieds. A roll of Velvia here cost $15US. D70 classic body alone is $1050US, the kit lens alone is $400US. D70 kit is about $1400US. The film guys are best hit, F100 at $2000US, F5 $3500US, F6 a little more. They are taking pre orders, supposed to be a sell out with the quantities they order. The site even support customers abroad.
