Mike D
I know this question is a stretch but in sports photography, viewfinder blackout time is critical. Less blackout/refresh time makes it a lot easier to follow the sports athlete running erratically down the field of play. Does anyone know the mirror blackout time on a D300 versus the EVF refresh time on a Sony A57. I mention the A57 because the speed of the EVF refresh was optimized for sports. Obviously, the higher FPS would result in an appropriately quicker blackout/refresh times but I wanted to know the exact times to make a comparison between the D300 at 8 FPS and the A57 at 10 FPS, both with active auto focus while shooting.
