mpd
I was editing some pics in CS3 and I turned my brush into a cross hair rather than a cirlce that represnts the size of the brush. This is true for the Brush tool, Clone Stamp and Healing brush. How do I reset the brush display?
thanks,
pat
mendel_leisk
First check if Cap Locks is inadvertantly on. This is an Adobe Photoshop "feature" that has confounded everyone at some time or another.
mendel_leisk
BTW, if you're ever struggling with visibility of brushes, due to it blending in with certain backgrounds, consider setting the mode to "standard". This displays the brush location as an icon that's visible, regardless of the tone of the image. You lose display of diameter though. If you're using a fixed diameter and are used to it, "standard" display worthwhile, saves you struggling to find the brush against certain backgrounds.

Changing the cursor settings (pls excuse if this is too obvious) is in pulldown:

Edit|Preferences|Cursors
