cbettis
Are there any problems with using newer Contax flash units (TLA 140, TLA 20) on my OM2N and OM4 bodies?
luis_g
When EX condition OM T-32's are going for $25 at KEH, I can't imagine why one would give up the TTL/OTF feature and the confirmation light.
paul_wheatland
Also be careful when using one brand flash unit with another brand camera, damage could be the result because of excessive trigger voltage!

nicholas_herndon
No, the TLA140 has a low trigger voltage, since it was designed for a camera with sensitive electronics (the G1/G2). I have one and use it on my OM-4T.

I don't like the T32 flash, I think it was poorly designed. Big and heavy with a weak foot. Plus, it's very close to the lens and gives really bad red eye. The TLA140 is much smaller (tiny, really), and even though it has no bounce, it is sufficiently high off the lens to avoid red-eye.
