www.wesleyalmond.com
indeed, this is great. I nice new look yet I still know my way around.
davyjo
Very freaky when you reload and it totally changes. It'll take a little getting used to but looks good.
jessica_allison1
It actually looks like we've gone back in time. No background color but looks like all of those older CMOS thread web pages.<P>So, the first 2 "threads" state that they like the <I>NEW</I> look?,?,?<P>Saving $$'s and using old technology! hannahthiem
I'm really enjoying the changes in photo.net since I recently joined. It is much more user friendly and more organized. Thanks!
dean.wette
Every time I see the new look I keep thinking someone accidentally deleted a CSS file on the server. I'm still not convinced that isn't what's going on here.
stp
It appears more organized, but I sure wish I could tell which threads I've visited by the color change of the title; that seems to have been lost.
phoneguy
WOW...Flippin nice. Looks Great! Love having the comment b at the bottom of the thread. Nice Job!
joel aron
I like the new look very much! ....can I just say that I was not expecting the Amazon adds planted within the critiques of my images!? If I paid to be a member of this site.. do I have to be pounded in the face with an add for camera equipment that I have no desire to own? It kinda cheapened the site up a little bit for me. Have no problem with the far right adds, but full page Amazon? Is the site that hurting for $$? just curious.
irsteve
Looks fine on Internet Explorer but it does'nt seem to like the AOL browser - I cant get any images to load up - or is it just me? And as for those ADDS .............. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH !
pjmeade
The new look seems to have brought with it a bank of Amazon adverts in the middle of the comments on my photos. Is this lousey coding or totally insensitive product placement?<div></div>
joel aron
@ Ian : make the move to Firefox 2.0. you'll wonder why you waited so long :)
Norma Desmond
The Amazon ads are an abomination. I was just about to order a book from them as a gift this weekend, and I'll be using Barnes and Noble instead. Horrendous. We didn't need dialogue. We had faces! paula grenside
Yes, the new look is great, but the enormous Amazon Ads are horrid. Why also on the pages of paying members?
pjmeade
I've sent in a comment from the feedback page. http://www.photo.net/contact-us If you don't like the adverts let PN know.
joshroot
Two things to keep in mind: 1. Photo.net needs money to run. It's just a fact of life. Nothing is free. 2. Nothing runs completely smoothly the first time out. Things need to be adjusted, tweaked, fixed. Including ads. Give us a day or two and things will be running smoothly again. Believe it or not, people are working hard on the site.
torfinn
A new stoneage look. I do not like it. It is very distracting with advertising in the middle of the comments section. I think this is a step back in time.
mdd1
I like the new look. Congrats, good work! And as for the adds, i use firefox 2.0 so there aren't any :) Just a little thing to work on: the comments left by others in my portfolio aren't so very well lined out on the leftside of the page. AJHingel
The new look is cleaner and I have no adds on my screen. I like it. The PN window is however smaller than my screen leaving a band on each side which limits even further the number of photos shown without scrolling. Can I correct it or is it a question of the new configuration ? If it is the latter, I would suggest to correct it during the fine-tuning.
AJHingel
Wrong ! I have got the adds too !
sansmeat
Well, I have had PN and Zenfolio running for awhile now. The new look is in my opinion inferior and the ads (yes, its spelled "ads" people) are not placed or sized well at all. I am a paid member and one of the reasons I paid was to get rid of the advertising.
nickmeertens
I will NOT renew my subscription if those Amazon ads stay! A paying customer shouldn't have to have that kind of in your face advertisement in between comments on his photo. I really don't mind the advertising in the general parts of the site, but in my own little space on PN I can do without, thank you very much! pulok
New look of photo.net! It really looks more organized. I don't have any problem with ads too as I am using Firefox (Marga dD has already mentioned about that). :) But new design and colours give the feeling of old netscape; not at all modern and attractive. Black or glowing white might be a good choice as general background colour. There should be an option to change the layout and colours of the personal page of paid member (I'm fine with general background being free member). :) Best wishes. ingermargrete
A new look; suddenly I miss the possibility to edit/delet comments on photos and portfolio - will that come back?
sansmeat
Curious, I am using Firefox but I still see the ads. Is there an option I need to set to not display them?
