Compact P&S that also has basic phone functions

<p>There's lots of phones that have a camera which is usually pretty basic and/or poor quality.<br>

Is there such a thing in reverse? i.e., a decent 6 or 8 mp camera with a basic phone that can talk and text but doesn't have all the other bells and whistles?<br>

I need to have a phone on me but I'm not much of a user. OTOH, I like to have a small camera available that could make a decent 8x10. I know camera phones are improving but I don't need internet and mp3 player and all the other stuff. Mainly I want a camera that I can place and receive a call on.</p>

<p>The most camera-like phones I've seen are the Cyber-Shot branded Sony Ericsson phones.</p>

<p>After some more research it seems the Casio Exilim phone is closest to my needs and I can get through my current carrier, Verizon, free as my 2 year upgrade. It's 5.1 mp and the camera part gets pretty good reviews. The phone part, not so much but as I stated, I don't need much phone.</p>

<p>If you want to take photos, buy a camera. If you want to make a call, buy a phone. You can't have your cake and eat it too.</p>
