william_varcas
I started this hobby recently to collect photos from newspaper such as New YorkTimes that I know of contains a few piece of good or satisfying composition thatI want to keep. However, I would study them once in a while. I wonder how shouldI mount it; I want to keep it in a binder inside a sleeve to create a album sort of. petemillis
William, just buy a scrap book with heavy pages, and mount the newspaper cuttings to that using one of those glue sticks (the Pritt Stik things if you know what I mean). This won't damage or soak through the paper at all and works well.
j.w.
I've done this too in the past, but have noticed that ordinary newsprint paper yellows with age rather rapidly. Perhaps a better idea is to scan the article, then save the PDF to a CD, along with printing out a copy onto a laser printer using acid--free paper. The resolution of laser printouts should be good enough for newsprint quality imaging; plus, laser toner is more archival than inkjet printout.
