Clear Focus

<p>Am using canon 1000D and since yesterday am failing to have a clear focus on manual mode. Am not sure weather something is wrong with the lens or body. Anyone with a solution please :)</p>

<p>Have you accidentally moved the little dioptre adjustment wheel next to the eyepiece, Malumbo? That has to be perfectly adjusted to your eye for manual focus. </p>

Just to expand briefly on Keith's advice: look through the viewfinder and half-press the shutter button to activate the

display. Turn the dioptre adjustment wheel until the display is sharp to your eye, and the image in the viewfinder should

be sharp, too (when the lens is properly focussed.)
