robert x
Hi - I have a Sekonic L-308b which has been great. I am noticing however that there is a pretty large dust buildup underneath the "lens" part of the meter. Anyone have any experience in taking these things apart - I see only two tiny tiny Philips screws in the battery area, otherwise nothing. I was wondering if it could just be popped open anywhere...... Or maybe it's time I upgraded to a spot-meter anyway....? RX
gary_watson
Unless it's plainly affecting your exposures, I'd relax and worry about something else.A bit of dust sometimes accumulates on the sensor under the dome on mine but it's easily brushed off.Get a cheap case for it if you're not already using one.
