Mike Gammill
We're at that time where some time zones are already at Friday the 17th. An experiment of sorts for those who are interested. I mentioned on the earlier Absorbing Modern Film Cameras thread that we might try letting one out of three images be from a modern film camera and see what the responses are. I'll start with a couple from my Spotmatic F and another roll of Panatomic-X. Second image from same roll
Mike Gammill
Now, the great experiment. I'm posting an image from a Maxxum XTSI which had a Maxxum 50mm f 1.7 lens attached. Film was Rolleipan 25. Looking forward to everyone's images regardless of whether they're all classic manual film camera images or a mixture. James Bryant
The bridge picture was manual focus because the Zeiss lenses are manual focus. Exposure was set manually.

erko_podbicanin
Few weeks ago I got used Fuji GW690 from bay seller from Japan . It is in almost like new condition . I managed to shoot couple of films in the very few nice days that we had recently . This camera is truly remarkable and must say I am very happy . It's my favorite one . (Of course until the next camera). First frame on both films came clear , because forgot to remove the lens cap .....also when I developed the second film , totally forgot to warm up the developer to 21c , instead this film has been developed and fixed only at 15C . Regardless , there is no difference between the first and second film . I didn't do so many mistakes in long time , but didn't use a rangefinder in long time either . So here are few images . Film was Ilford 125 FP4+

rick_drawbridge
Terrific sharp and contrasty image above from the Fuji, Erko! I've just received possibly the tidiest Agfa Isolette II I've come across, complete with a beautiful Agfa leather case; for those of you who are unfamiliar with this camera, it's a folding viewfinder camera from the 1950's, using 120 rollfilm. I cleaned it and loaded a roll of Arista EDU Ultra 200 from a small stash I keep for testing cameras; it's a fine film but this batch is so full of pinholes and other manufacturing defects that I don't like to risk it on serious work. However, the camera turned in an excellent performance, so I salvaged a few frames to show on the Forum. The 85mm Apotar f/4.5 lens performed beyond my expectations, though it has received many accolades, over the years. I'll try to do a post on the camera on the near future. Film developed in PMK Pyro, scans from an Epson V700 Photo. School Cycling Trip Deck Street Scene Through the Window : Merino Kids Since I'm still not quite sure just what constitutes a "Modern Film Camera" I'll hang off contributing until I see other members' contributions. Still, I'd like to revive my old practice of posting images from Manual Focus Lenses, since Photo.net still seems to lack any other appropriate forum. Here is a frame from the exquisite 135mm Schneider-Kreuznach f/3.5, fitted to a Sony Alpha A7r. Lake : Afternoon
Tony Evans
Erko, Great work with the "Texas Leica". I loved mine, but let it go when unsteady hands forced me to lighter rangefinders. Thank you. Tony Evans

Argenticien
I try not to mine my library of old photos too often for these weekend threads, but I thought I would pull out a seaside picture in memory of Tony Lockerbie. It's a seascape very different to what he typically photographed (crags rather than sandy strand), but it's probably my least-bad seascape picture so I'm going with it. From 5th October 2010. Apologies if I've posted this in the forum already, perhaps around that time. --Dave Bixby Creek Bridge From South by Argenticien, on Flickr Mamiya C330 + Mamiya-Sekor 80/2.8, Efke R25 film, probably developed in Ilfosol 3(?).
