Circular polarizer in lenses that take drop-in filters?

<p>Is there a good way to use circular polarizers with lenses that take filters in a drop-in slot? Unless I'm missing something, it looks like there would be no way to turn the filter to make adjustments while looking through the lens. So what are you supposed to do with lenses like this if you want the benefits of a polarizing filter?</p>

<p>As to linear vs circular, they both require rotation to set the level of desired effect.<br>

Perhaps a front mounted filter provides the access to rotate?<br>

<p>Typically, the drop-in polarizers are fitted in a special holder, which has an external wheel to turn the filter.</p>

<p>Justin, take a close look at these drop in polarizers and you will see the knurled wheels you turn to rotate the polarisers. Sometimes a picture is worth 1000 words.<br>
