sliu Posted February 19, 2005 Share Posted February 19, 2005 In SD forum last week, there is a thread: <a href="http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00B5ue">lunar new year around the world</a> with little international response. <p> I had some snapshot last week in New York. My observation is that it is more a international celebration than a Chinese traditional holiday. People went crazy. But most of them are not Chinese. <p> Since these snapshots are not up to the standard of Street Photography, but I believe they are "rangefiner style", which qualify for this forum.<div></div> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had Saturday off, so went to the "Year of the Rooster" New Year's Celebration downtown. Lots of Chinese there, and it definitely was a Chinese community celebration.
