China 2004 - M7, 50mm Red Scale Elmar, Noctilux, and Tri-X

on this and the B&W forums. However, this is the first time I've

really posted any photos. The presentation is a series of B&W photos

of Beijing, Xian, Sanya, and Shanghai during Oct 2004. Shot with

Leica M7, 50mm f3.5 screwmount Elmar, and Noctilux on Tri-X. This is

not my best stuff but a few of the pictures are good. I hope to get

up other photos on the web that have backlogged over the last 6

years...

Normally I always develop myself but I wanted to try Metro in London because they are open 24/7. I had them pull 1/2 stop in the XTOL machine and I exposed for 320. I print with a Focomat so I need the negs a bit softer than for a diffusion enlarger. I shot Delta 400 and developed in Emofin for a few years but wanted to go over to the new Tri-X when I heard about Ilford's troubles. Oh and scanning is painless with Silverfast and Negafix...
