russell_britt
I bought one on e-bay a year ago. I have seen several lately, the one I bought was a european model. It works fine with a plug adapter as only its 50 cycles not 60 cycles. Which makes no diference charging batteries. rtansa
Thanks Russell I bidded twice but got sniped at the last minute!! Will keep looking out. at the moment, I am making do with a 9V adaptor. I read that it would not fry my EL's motor. Hope that's correct! roland_haid
Any charger with 6V DC will do, so you d'ont need a Hasselblad one. Hasselblad specifies 7V and 50 mA, this provides 12 h charging for full batt. If you have a, say 6V, 100 mA it will do in 6 h. Yes a 9V batt. will not harm your EL because it's to weak. Why nor trying to build another 6V accu? There are plenty of possibolities around, regards
