case for 2.8E

<p>I want to buy the neveready case for my 2.8E. Keh has one in Ex condition but it is for 2.8A. I wonder would it fit my E Rollei?</p>

<p>I would think probably so... unless your E has a metered knob on the focus. I don't think the A offered that and it would make the knob cover on the case different.</p>

<p>I don't think it would fit. The 'A' had a stud fitting for the strap but the 'E' series all had the scissors fitting.<br>

You could possibly force an 'E' into an earlier case but it might not be pretty nor anything like as secure as you'd wish it to be. Check <em>The Rollei Manual 3rd edition</em> page 154 for a clearer description of the differences.</p><div></div>

<p>The old style ERC was retained by a blade that slid down through the strap lug, which can't work with a scissors fitting.</p>
