joshroot
Jorge from rangefinderforum posted this, but I figured that it wouldbe better if I reposted it myself. Jorge is a good guy and I don't want him tofeel put-out if someone decided to delete the reference to other photoforums. Personally, I don't see it as an issue. But this way, theresponsibility falls on me. RFF and PopFlash photo are having a "Cartier-Bresson" photo contest. The basis of which is that images need to be "street" style and takenwith a 50mm (or as close as possible). First place is a Zeiss Icon RFcamera. I know that a thread for this was posted at one point, but thecontest deadline is sneaking up and it's worth posting about again. Rules and whatnot at the RFF site.
back_alley_.
thanks josh! yes, the deadline is the end of march and the prize is a zeiss ikon with zm 50mm lens. for those diehard leica users it can be a great back up camera. i have one and a leica m3 and so far there have been no fights in the camera bag;) joe
brambor
I went to the RFF site but all I can see is a link to Popflash web site which does not have any info about the contest. Do I have to be registered with RFF to see the contest details and signup?
back_alley_.
it's in the middle of the homepage, as rff photo contest.

jorge_torralba2
Josh, Thanks for the updated post. This wil definetly be a fun contest and am looking forward to all the great entries. As far as choosing a winner, its pretty simple. Popflash and RFF will pick 10 finalists. Those 10 pictures will be published and the winner will be chosen by all the registered members voting in a poll. Oh yes. you can only vote once :)

nels
Well then, I'm game with my M8 and 35/1.4.
brambor
Nellie, you need to go into this with 50mm lens. I have tons of 35mm Summicron Pics but had to look for suitable 50mm cron pics. Lately I've been shooting more 50mm than anything. Go figure.

nels
Vivek - Congratulations on being chosen the representative of the humorless. Let me explain the joke for your benefit. If I was actually going to cheat, why would I declare it on the 'net? Hope you took notes. There'll be a pop-quiz tomorrow.
