m3rdpwr
Hi all. I have this Bogen boom kit:http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&A=ShowProduct&sku=512958&is=REG&Q= Right now it stays assembled all the time and it takes up too much room. I would like to get a bag (or bags if absolutely necessary) for this when stored.Has anyone bought a bag for this that you feel worked out great? Thanks in advance for your suggestions! -Mario
Ed_Ingold
The base is too large to fit in any bag that I know of. It will fit in a Bogen/Manfrotto hard case, which is 10x10x52 inches. The sections will fit in any 36" bag when disassembled, and must be protected to keep them from denting. The 15# counterweight is problematic - literally a loose cannon. It will clamp on the base column, but I wouldn't trust this arrangement for shipping. The original shipping tube would be a possibility, but I nearly destroyed it just getting the stuff out.
