Capture One as a Stand Alone (w/o Internet Connection)?

Do not have internet at home but use it at work. Currently like processing with Nikon Capture NX2 because it does not require internet connection to finesse images. Beside the initial download of the Capture One via internet, could I process with Capture One without an internet connection?

I occasionally use the free version that is available with Sony cams. It does not need an internet connection for the editing I do. I can't speak to the issue with the non-Sony version.

Thanks, From reading the Capture One site information, it is the same as what you report for Sony version. Will be getting new Nikon D850 and I understand I may be able to use Nikon Capture NXD, save images as TIFF which then can be edited with Capture NX2, but, if that is too cumbersome, there is always LR.
