alfarmer
Didn't see this one coming... With 4GB SD cards so cheap I decided to take the plunge. Both my cameras can use them fine, but I've tried 8 different PCs and 4 different USB SD card readers and NOTHING can read these 4GB cards. How does one buy an SD card reader knowing in advance it will be able to read 4GB SD cards? Thanks,ALF
johnny_anderson
You need a card reader that reads SDHC cards. You can get them thru camera stores and big box stores like Best Buy, Frys, Circuit City, etc. Just make sure they will read SDHC cards, many of the readers can't read the high capacity cards. You really need to read the fine print on what cards the readers support. I got mine at Frys and out of a rack of 50 or so readers, I found 5 that could read SDHC cards. bruce_margolis
Just a thought........ With most cameras, you can upload (download?) your photos without a card reader. Simply attach the camera to your computer via USB, turn on the camera, and let the transfer begin.
