Canon's DPP and Unsharp mask

<p>The latest versions of Canon's Digital Photo Professional now have the "Unsharp mask" adjustment, in addition to the simpler "Sharpness" option.<br>

“Unsharp Mask” offers 3 settings: Strength, Fineness and Threshold, each adjustable from 0 to 10.<br>

How those settings compare with Camera Raw settings (Amount, Radius, Detail and Masking) or Photoshop Elements 9 (Amount, Radius and Threshold)?<br>

Any recommendation on an appropriate setting to use as a starting point?<br>

<p>Hi, I've been using 7,7,3, in that descending order - if it helps. Seems to make the landscapes sharper.<br>
