Happy Thursday everyone! Iphoning it again so no photo yet. I will post a photo in the morning. Already a couple hours late, so ill get on

<p>I'm on the road again (as always), but I now carry a small card reader so I can get the images out of my camera and into Lightroom on my laptop so I can post from the road. Here goes:</p>

<p>This is a hotel bathroom in a nice hotel in Fukuoka, Japan from a couple of days ago. What else will they tell me how to do?</p><div></div>

<p>And the light was incredible at sunset in Honolulu yesterday... or was it the day before? I lose track sometimes.</p>

<p>It was a dull grey day yesterday. But somehow the fallen leaves from the kiwi plant cought my eye. First tried with the 50 1.4 but somehow these didn't pop. So this is with the 28-80 2.8-4.0 L, on 50.. will do more experiments later, and try to get the 50 1.4 to pop..</p><div></div>

<p>By no means is this a good photo. It is definitely not my best picture this week. But it has to be my POW. My daughter Kate and her boyfriend Kevin a hour or so after they announced their engagement last night. I couldn't be happier.</p><div></div>

<p>Love those windmills Wade. <br />You may be forgiven for thinking the 3 shots I posted last week were taken in India - in fact, they were taken in Brighton on the south coast of England. The tower is a detail of the Royal Pavilion, the arch is the North Gate entrance, and the Dome is "The Dome" - originally built by The Prince Regent, later George IV, as stables. If you are willing to brave the English climate, Brighton is a great place to visit with lots of photo opportunities. This week my first shot is of the Brighton Eye; the second shot is of the Maritime Museum in Greenwich - where I visited a wonderful exhibit of Ansel Adams' work - "Photography from the Mountains to the Sea" (ends 28th April, 2013). And third a Xmas Iguana....Happy Holidays!</p><div></div>

<p>I had some film processed after a recent trip to Dungeness on the Kent coast. <br /> This was shot with Ilford SFX 200 with a Kood R4 filter; my first use of this combination.<br>
