I've always lusted after that 100-400mm lens! I wonder if I can somehow talk my brother into giving me his? I'll work on it.

My bee shot, a couple of panels up, was taken with the 100-400mm S-II and an EF 1.4x TC-III on a 5DS-R, hand held. That lens is stupendous.

DCstep. love the honey bee,

Akocurec, I'm trying to convince a friend that his DCs Rossini should come and stay at my house while he's on vacation..

(you have to start somewhere :-) (and yes, that is a 30 grand cd player..))

Lets get the series on the way. Here's your artwork for the week.

How would that DCs Rossini look on the shelves next to the fireplace, jdebever?

I'll have to look up that cd player, not that I have the budget for it!

It doesn't hurt to ask, right?

DCStep, that is a great shot. I'll have to settle for my 70-200 F/4 with 1.4 extender until I talk myself into parting with the money.

Tribute to photographer Edward French, shot and killed at Twin Peaks in SF, for his photography equipment, while trying to get a shot of the city:

Very sad that mr. French was killed for his equipment.
