Dave410
Now I've seen everything! I'm on the road again (as always), and this was a huge banner I saw in the airport in Nagoya, Japan a couple of days ago. It was at least 30 feet tall and there were smaller posters all over the airport. Apparently, someone is selling a facial exerciser. You put that thing in your mouth and wiggle it, and it supposedly firms up your face. Come to think of it, I should have bought one. This tired, old face could use it.

Dave410
You may have heard of Typhoon Phanfone. It's a Category One typhoon right now and it's supposed to hit Japan as a Category Four in a couple of days. Well, I knew the big dog when it was only a pup. Here's the weather chart for our trip to Guam a couple of days ago. Phanfone was only a tropical storm as it approached the Marianas, but the thunderstorms were still reaching up to 45,000 feet. I wasn’t too sure it was such a good idea, but we had enough fuel to divert 1,400 miles north to Japan if it got too scary, so we went anyway. It turned out to be a non-event.

Laura Weishaupt
Dave, all those folks on the ad are smiling. Isn't smiling the best facial exercise? That is kind of a goofy thing. Guam........that's a ride in the way back machine. Nice clouds.
William Kahn
This is the Hermit Cave Saloon, embedded in a hillside in Jerome, Arizona's ghost town.

Dave, did you notice that none of the folks in that poster are Japanese? I think there's a message there. ;-)
(By the way, we lived in Nagoya when I was a kid in 1952. I'd love to go back there, but I doubt I'd recognize it.)
