jay_huling
I have a T90, and the eyepiece shutter is stuck in the closed position. Can one of you give me some advice on repairing it myself, or direct me to someone who can? thanks
feanolas1
It is not too difficult to remove the upper part of the T90, have a look at a part list in order to see which screws need to be removed. From the top of my head, you would need to remove the front plate (apparent screws in front + the two screws of the back opening mecanism), then remove the two in the front you see now. There are also 2 around the eyepiece and one at the strap lug... And of course the one securing the shutter lever, which is hiden under a plastic plug in the axis of the lever! Then lift the cover, taking care not to pull too hard because the flash socket contacts are wired to the body via short wires. Now you should be able to see what is stuck! Not as difficult as it seems... Good luck.
