jdebever
And another week flown by. As usual up to 3 photos, 1000 pixels max. I have been thinking about a new tripod for years. Have 3, 1 is an old gitzo that is too heavy to take around (7 kilo) and one old one that doesn't support my new cameras..and one is a mono gitzo. This weekend one of the shops had tripods on sale. Ended up with a Gitzo GK2545T-82QD , nice small , light. Very happy with it. This weekend a road test, it's Burgers Light again. So show us what toys you bought. and i finished my 9th series of chemo pills. Oncologist this afternoon..

akocurek
Toys? My new 1300 mm "lens". From my vantage point I have seen the ring around Saturn, Jupiter and two of its moons, as well as our moon, of course (with my old telescope). The new telescope will more readily allow me to attach a camera. Can't wait! I thank fellow Photo.netter Ed Ingold for recommending this telescope, a Sky-Watcher 102mm Maksutov-Cassegrain.
