Canon Parts

I know this is somewhere on this forum but I can't find it again.

Where can you order Canon Parts from? I think there was a website in

a thread about replacing the rear LCD... but I can't find it. Do you

have to order parts directly from Canon?

 

I need to get a screw for the Canon 1DmkII.

While you guys are at it. A photographer has offered to give me a lens collar for my 70-200 for free, but he says it's missing the bolt that holds it tight, and Canon Mexico does not sell that bolt separately.

 

Does anybody know where to get it?

You can get almost any part directly from Canon. Just call the 800 number and work through to the parts department.

However since I can't call 800 numbers from Mexico I'll try to look for an e-mail on their site. But it's good to know that you can order any part.

I ordered a few extra motor drive coupling caps for my 1n because I always lose them. It

cost me about $10 for 3.

In the USA Canon parts phone number is: (732) 521-7230. Or at least it used to be.
