catchlight
As John Shaw said in one of his presentations, "It's not IF you'll drop a lens or body, it's when." My turn has come, and I have a 135/2L that needs to be checked by a reputable repair service. The story is too painful to tell again. Has anyone used a Canon-savvy repair service in Canada (preferably in Vancouver or Victoria) that you would use again and recommend? Thanks for any leads. natureshots
You should find a Canon authorized service instead of any other shop that is near your area. Find the "service facility" in the above link. Your best bets are with an authorized service center; I sent my lens in for repair at a center in California and I'm satisfied. catchlight
Thank you for the contact info, Thai and Pierre. I speaks well of the quality of Canon equipment that I have been using FD and EOS gear for over 20 years, and have never had anything break until now.
