Bettendorf
danac, I was at that same rock 30 years later, with my lovely bride also. Although it was way past our honeymoon! Great photo. A-1 with FD 35/2.0, Fujichrome Provia.

danac
That's the same place. I posted another photo of Mesa Arch in May of last year. A few years later we drove our 4wd Ford Ranger the rest of the way around the White Rim Trail a total distance of 104 often frightening miles. I wouldn't care to do it again even on a dirt bike. Canyonlands was on our 2nd of three trips to the Rockies. Always loved being there, but I'll never grow fond of clinging to the side of a mountain!

Bettendorf
Great shot Jim! I didn't realize you could snag something like that with just a 200mm.
jim_bielecki1
Great shot Jim! I didn't realize you could snag something like that with just a 200mm. I had first used a 50/1.8 figuring I needed the extra speed. But after experimenting with ISO's and shutter speeds, realized I could use an F2.8 lens. So I pulled out the FD 200mm and gave it a try. Pleasantly surprised how good it came out.
