jim_bielecki1
I use my old F-1 for portrait photography. I use two strobes, mounted on tripods, bounced into umbrellas. I connect one of the strobes to my F-1 with a PC cord, and use the other strobe as a slave. I use a flash meter to figure exposure. All of this works well. mwmcbroom
I've done exactly the same as Jim -- for photos that were published, by the way. So, yeah, that's a viable way to go.
BeBu Lamar
Don't have a flashmeter? Guess and use a digital camera to check.
