jeremymarino Posted October 3, 2018 Share Posted October 3, 2018 Hello all, I recently purchased a Canon AE-1. The frame counter seems to be stuck at 14. After shooting a few times to get the counter to the limit and opening the door, it stops at 14. Does anyone know how to fix this? If not, could you point me in the right direction? stuart_pratt Posted October 3, 2018 Share Posted October 3, 2018 It is probably reset by a small lug in the top light seal rail, it is spring loaded and when you open the back it resets to zero. There is a corresponding 'pin' in the door, that impinges on it when you close the door, that allows it to count on.
