Canon 5D Mkiii or Nikon D600

<p>Is the Nikon D600 a better camera when it comes to picture quality or depth of color or does the newer Canon 5D mkiii options make it a better choice to purchase?</p>

<p>Actually the Canon 5D Mark III is the (slightly) older camera between the two. The 5D Mark III was introduced in March, 2012 while the Nikon D600 was introduced in September that same year.<br>

Today, the D600 is more like a $1500 camera while the 5D Mark III is still close to twice as expensive. Those two simply belong to two different classes.<br>
