puriantoh
Got a fren who told me he has old Yashica Camera with some lenses in his store. Not sure what model and lens type. I haven't seen it but pretty sure they were purchased during film age. My question is whether or not the lenses fit on DSLR FF body? Example: 5DMK2.
henrik_lauridsen
You will need an adapter + make sure you check this list . Some m42 lenses will collide with the mirror of a 5D.
borek_lupomesky
Yashinon lenses will be M42 (very old) or C/Y mount (old). Both can be adapted to Canon EOS by means of appropriate adaptor piece.
JDMvW
Aside from issues of clearing the mirror on the 35mm sensor models, there are sometimes projections on various older lenses that interfere with mounting on the larger sensor models but do not interfere with mounting on an APS-C sensor model. Examples include Nikkor wide-angle lenses with protective projections on the back.

C/Y>EOS adapters are available, but M42>EOS are ubiquitous.

For M42 lenses without manual stopdown, there are special adapters with a flange that depresses the automatic aperture pin.

Finally, I trust you are aware that the resulting combination will be a stop-down manually to meter, manual focus lens on an automatic camera? Set the camera to Aperture priority or to Manual.
