keith_tapscott
If you were looking to buy a 4x5 monorail and had the chance to buy either a Cambo SC2 or a Toyo 45C with the price and condition of both cameras the same, which one would be the better choice for both studio and location? Just these two cameras only please.
big toys are better
I recall these are roughly equivilant system cameras, but I can't offer a direct comparison between them. Calumet is the U.S. distributor for Cambo, and may also still carry Toyo stuff. I have a Toyo and like it very much, but I'm sure you'll find advocates of the Cambo as well. Why not take each for a test drive even if it's only at a camera store? That will give you an opportunity to see the pluses and minuses of each. keith_tapscott
Thanks for replying, they both seem to be excellent choices considering value for money. I have decided to opt for the Toyo since my first post. Cheers.
