Alex_Es Posted February 14, 2008 Share Posted February 14, 2008 Addresses are useless in Japan. Get off at JR Osaka-Umeda, just after Shin Osaka (assuming you are coming from Kyoto). Turn left and go down stairs to the underground mall. Yaotomi Camera is on the left. If lost, say, "Summimasen. Yaotomi Camera doko desu ka?" For Obayashi down to the end of the underground mall and then up the steps where you find Seattle's Finest Coffee. Turn right and go out. There is a round building appropriately called Maru Biru (Round Building). Once you see the round building over your right shoulder, cross the street and then turn right. You will pass a fire station and a very cool model ship shop. Obayashi Camera is a few steps away. If lost, ask passersby, ""Summimasen. Obayashi Camera doko desu ka?" Be sure to say, "Domo arigato gozaimasush'ta." when people help you. There are lots of camera shops in Umeda. Therefore there are lots of camera maniacs in the area who can help you.
