buying camera equipment in thailand

Hi all,

One of my friend is going to thailand for attending a conference. I

wanted to know the avaiable camera stores where i can find original

nikon stuff with warranty.

Are camera equipment cheaper in Thailand??

Where can i get a mirror lens in thailand??

am not sure that you'll have any luck anywhere else in Thailand.

Your friend can also try on Sukhumvit Road - between Soi 1 and Soi 30 if he/she is in

Bangkok.

I don't think you'll be able to get really great deals there like you would in Hong Kong so

don't expect too much in terms of savings.

When I lived there I bought all my gear at Fotofile in MBK Center. The prices were the best in Bangkok, and they were great for service. Thailand pegs their currency to the US$, so depending on what currency you are converting, the prices could be OK right now with the US$ going south. They have prices on their website.
