raulito Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Hi guys, I'll be soon travelling to Sri Lanka and will spend next 12 months of my life on the island. I'd like to buy a new DSLR (either 5D Mk II - if in stock by end of October, or a 5D, or at least 50D... may be). I was wondering if it makes sense in terms of price to buy a camera in Colombo or would it be better to get one in Switzerland - where I will be transitting by. B&H or Adorama options are not possible - I live in Georgia, Caucasus and having brave Soviet Red Army on one's soil does not necessarily makes international shopping and shipping more secure. :):) Do U guys, have any experience of buying photo stuff in Colombo?
