john_wilson10
I added an alert in a thread in the B&W photography forum. When it was done, it sent me to this page:

http://www.photo.net/bboard/add-alert-2.tcl

The link that is broken is in the breadcrumb navigation at the top:

Community > Forums > B&W Photo - Film & Processing > Add Alert > Alert Added

I pasted that in, I don't know if the formatting will stick. The "B&W Photo - Film & Processing" breadcrumb link points to this URL:

http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=B&W%20Photo%20-%20Film%20&%20Processing

But when I go there I get an error message that says

"There is no forum with the topic name of B . Either you have mistyped a URL or something is seriously wrong with the photo.net Discussion Forums system."

Probably need to escape that ampersand, if I had to take a guess.
bobatkins
Ampersands in URLs can cause problems. It's safest to replace them with %26 just as spaces should be replaced with %20

The correct URL should read http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a.tcl?topic=B%26W%20Photo%20-%20Film%20%26%20Processing
