"Browse Portfolios by photographer" deactivated : why ?

Hello, photo.net administrators.

The "Browse Portfolios by photographer" functionality is deactivated

since around a week. Why ?

I used to browse portfolios by name, searching more efficiently for a

particular theme (New York pictures) than the very limited "Search"

function.

Yes I also find "gallery>all photographers" useful. I wonder what's up.

I emailed photo.net the question - 'for how long?' and didn't get a direct answer unfortunately.

I found 'Public Portfolios' so relaxing and I would have thought easy for newcomers to see just fabulous photos real people take!

And also encourage them to upload their own photos.

Does this mean I have to find a new photo website who will share their photos?

I hope not ............ the website now is not as good as it was.

I've asked why the "recent folders" and others have not been available lately and have recieved no response to this question. Are you that busy you can't answer a simple question?? What gives?? I've been waiting amost 3 weeks for some kind of response.
