jagpilot
I have a set of Bowens 500 Gemini Strobes and they worked perfect up until about about 2 months ago. Whenever I take a photo now, it doesn't matter what setting I am at on camera or strobe power, the photos come out completely blown out white. Does anyone know why or how I can fix it? I have tried almost everything and can't seem to figure it out. Thanks everyone!
rodeo_joe1
First thing to check is whether it's the camera or the flash at fault. A stuck aperture on the camera lens might give blown-out results too. Take the camera outside and see if varying the aperture gives different exposures. If the camera checks out OK, then it seems likely the power regulation on one of the flashes might have gone, resulting in full power output all the time. Unlikely for all your strobes to have broken at once though. My guess is your lens is stuck open, or you have a shutter fault on the camera. Or the ISO setting is maxed out.
