  1. I teach photography at the University of Malawi. I have a class of graphic designers coming up, that I will teach
a little photography in 12 lessons. The starting level is low. The available equipment minimal, some have no more
than a camera-phone available. I do a practical training: make photos. A headshot, an environmental portrait, a
product photo, an architecture photo etc. I can order a few books for the library. Everything we have there is
out of date. I need a book on general photography, one on light, one on photoshop, one on composition. Which
books (in English) would be the best for this target group?
  2. The Digital Photography Handbook by Doug Harman. This book is really good for beginners
